Price of a Faerie's LifeBones protrude, where wings once were.  Eyes, desolate—full of confusion.  Voice failing the frail form “Why?”  Torturer turns, ready to leave, and laughs.  Skin pale, she curses the man and his descendants.  Slipping into darkness, a single tear falls down her  Blood-stained cheek. A Mother's Worst FearA flash of yellow, in the shadows—  I don’t move.  The lanky creature steps into the light,  The black stripes like tears.  She steps back and chirps  Two cubs emerge from a hidden den.  One turns to her, one to me.  One cub jumps up next and sniffs.  Mom gives a warning, Back to mom.  A slow growl from the other cub—  My back goes rigid.  Back into the shadows and they run.  Tears of fear leave salty trails down my face,  A connection to this great cat. I wish I had an icon that wasn't found on the internet. I want to make one but I can't think of what to make and I have zero talent when it comes to art of any kind. Wow I really didn't have much to say at all. I'm bored...and hungry...and tired...yeah, that about covers it. Oh wait! I wish our crappy computer had Microsoft Word on it, as well as a few other programs...Okay...I think that's all. Yeah that's about it.
